The Quality Assurance and University Performance Division was established under Administrative Order No. 926 dated February 15, 2012. The division’s tasks include the following:
  1. Coordination with all college formations to document data for the following evaluation files:
    • University Performance Evaluation File.
    • Evaluation File for Senior University Leadership Performance.
    • Evaluation File for Faculty Members’ Performance.
    • Evaluation File for Staff Performance.
    • Evaluation File for Higher Education Outcomes.
    • Coordination of Future Evaluation Files.
  2. Auditing the accuracy of the data, standardizing it, and submitting it to the Quality Assurance Department at the university presidency within specified timelines.
  3. Maintaining and updating the database for each evaluation file and periodically updating the data.
  4. Involving the division’s staff in developmental and training courses, as well as scientific activities that contribute to improving university performance.
  5. Promoting the culture of quality in higher education and its role in serving individuals and society. This includes organizing periodic seminars and meetings to raise awareness and enhance understanding of quality assurance culture, explaining its importance to achieve global quality standards, in coordination with the Ministry’s Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority.
  6. Conducting evaluation studies, where the division works to complete the self-evaluation file for scientific departments and develop standards that align with those of comparable global universities.
  7. Conducting evaluation studies on certain educational and scientific aspects, presenting successful solutions to the university president, and informing the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the research results and college activities. The division also submits development proposals that enhance the robustness of all evaluation files.
