Hawra Kazim Enid from the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening successfully defended her PhD. defense with the title (The Effect of Vermicompost Fertilizer and Foliar Application of Salicylic Acid and Gibberellin on the Growth and Flowering of Camellia japonica)
The study aimed to investigate the impact of the optimal level of Vermicompost fertilizer and the foliar application of salicylic acid and gibberellin on the growth and flowering of Camellia japonica under Iraqi environmental conditions, particularly in the central regions.
The researcher recommended the necessity of conducting further studies on Camellia japonica, as it is an important flowering ornamental shrub with various medical benefits. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of further research on organic and biofertilizers and their effects on the growth of Camellia japonica.
