Professor Dr. Amira Mohammed Saleh, Dean of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad, welcomed a delegation from the Department of Food Sciences. The delegation presented two academic books authored by the college’s faculty, supporting sustainable development goals in quality education.
The first book, The Nutritional Guide to Strengthening the Immune System, is a research work by Dr. Asmaa Sabah and Dr. Ishraq Muneer. It promotes health awareness by explaining safe, science-based methods to boost immunity naturally. The book offers clear, reliable information, serving as a useful reference for readers.
The second book, Traditional and Modern Techniques in the Detection and Diagnosis of Microorganisms, comes from Professor Dr. Nidhal Mohammed Saleh and Professor Dr. Asmaa Sabah. It supports undergraduate and postgraduate students in microbiology. The book covers traditional and modern microscopy, staining techniques, biochemical tests, and molecular diagnostics. It combines theory and practical applications to strengthen hands-on knowledge.
These publications highlight the college’s commitment to advancing scientific research and improving educational curricula. The authors simplify complex concepts while meeting student and researcher needs. They also incorporate the latest scientific references to ensure accuracy and quality.
