The book Global Warming and the Future of Life on Earth” by Dr. Natiq Hameed Al-Qudsi, an expert in animal production at the College of Agriculture, has recently been published. The book discusses the dangerous climate changes resulting from increased greenhouse gas emissions. Harmful practices, such as excessive burning of fossil fuels, are exacerbating this problem.
The author also focuses on the phenomenon of desertification, which threatens green areas, particularly in tropical countries like Brazil. The book consists of six chapters spanning 150 pages, offering valuable insights into the impact of climate change on the world and our country. This information aims to alert officials and stakeholders to take practical steps.
We wish Dr. Al-Qudsi further success in his scientific and professional efforts. This work is a significant contribution to environmental knowledge and helps raise greater awareness of climate challenges.
