Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, Professor Dr. Amira Mohammed Saleh, and with the direct supervision and coordination of the Head of the Animal Production Department, Professor Dr. Hossam Jassim Hussein Bananah, in collaboration with the Government Communication Team of the Prime Minister’s Office, a special honor ceremony was held at the college to recognize a group of outstanding students from the Animal Production Department.
The ceremony was attended by Professor Qasim Al-Badiri, representing the Government Communication Team, who conveyed the greetings of the Prime Minister’s Office and commended the efforts of the outstanding students and the role of academic institutions in building a distinguished generation of scholars.
The event began with a speech by the Head of the Department, who welcomed the honorable attendees and expressed his pride in the department’s top-performing students. He emphasized the significance of this recognition, which reflects the department’s commitment to nurturing excellence and opens avenues for fruitful cooperation with official entities.
The ceremony also included the distribution of certificates of appreciation and awards to the Dean’s assistants for academic, administrative, and student affairs, as well as several faculty members, in recognition of their dedicated efforts in supporting the educational journey and enhancing the academic environment. Outstanding students who excelled in their studies and contributed to raising the department’s reputation with pride and honor were also honored.
In her speech on the occasion, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Amira Mohammed Saleh, expressed her deep pride in the department’s students and teaching staff, appreciating this generous initiative and reaffirming the college’s unwavering commitment to supporting academic excellence and strengthening partnerships with state institutions.
The ceremony concluded with commemorative photos, capturing the atmosphere of pride and celebration, marking the culmination of the students’ and faculty’s hard work.
