An economic analysis of the most important factors affecting agricultural output in Iraq for the period 2000-2023

The study aimed to conduct an economic and measurement analysis of the most important economic variables affecting Iraq’s agricultural output, in addition to studying the climatic and environmental impact of wheat and rice production using Ricardo’s methodology for the period 2000-2023.

The researcher recommended the necessity of growing new varieties of wheat and rice that are resistant to climate and environmental changes, as well as encouraging modern agriculture and organic agriculture to reduce gas emissions, improve soil quality, and reduce pollution, which leads to increased agricultural production.
