In accordance with principles of sustainable development and scientific partnerships, Professor Munim Khamis Mukhlif, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, is chairman of MSc thesis defense committee for student Hassanein Issa Muhammad Saleh, College of Political Science – University of Kufa, entitled “Realizing Threat Perception & Its Impact on Confronting Political Unrest (Selected Models).”
The thesis presented cognitive concepts of political unrest, the role of awareness in confronting unrest, mechanisms for dealing with it, the role of technology, and the role of decision-makers in confronting crises according to the nature of the political system and available military capabilities.
