College Museum
The College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences Museum is a historical gateway that reflects a distinguished legacy of academic excellence and scientific achievement. Established to preserve the agricultural and engineering heritage created by generations of faculty members and researchers, the museum is far more than a display space for artifacts; it serves as a living bridge connecting the rich legacy of the past with the future of agricultural innovation.
The museum houses a rare collection of traditional agricultural tools, historical documents that chronicle the establishment of the college and the development of its academic departments, as well as research models that represent significant scientific achievements which have contributed to the advancement of the agricultural sector in Iraq. Through preserving this heritage, the museum seeks to inspire future generations to continue the journey of knowledge, innovation, and sustainable development.

In accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Agriculture Regulation No. (27) of 1952, the College of Agriculture was established as an institution directly affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture following the separation of the Agricultural School and the Higher Agricultural Institute from the General Directorate of Agriculture. The college was placed under the direct administration of the Ministry, with its headquarters located in Abu Ghraib.
In 1958, following the establishment of the University of Baghdad, the College of Agriculture became one of its constituent colleges.
In 2014, the College of Agriculture was officially relocated to the University of Baghdad campus under Ministerial Order No. M.W. 710/5, dated April 10, 2014. This relocation followed the preparation of a suitable site featuring extensive agricultural land, spacious buildings accommodating all academic departments, modern laboratories, and expansive experimental fields to support education, research, and practical training.
