This unit was established in 2009 after previously being part of the work of the Scientific Assistant. The Missions and Cultural Relations Unit at the College of Agriculture represents one of the important and active components in enhancing the college’s role in the field of agricultural research, monitoring agricultural problems, and solving them to develop agriculture in the country. This is achieved by sending numerous missions and fellowships for students and faculty members of the college, as well as concluding scientific and cultural cooperation agreements with Arab and international universities. The unit aims to provide opportunities for the assigned individuals to communicate with various countries around the world, transfer the latest developments in agricultural production, and attempt to apply them on the ground in our beloved Iraq.
The unit organizes special files for each assignee, in addition to clarifying all instructions and foundations for the work of missions and cultural relations, as well as the process of completing official correspondence.
