The Student Activities Division at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, participated in the Festival of Classical Poetry organized by the Department of Artistic and Cultural Activities at the university. The festival took place on the stage of the Activities Department with the participation of 24 colleges.
The festival was evaluated using a scoring system by a specialized committee consisting of university professors. It began with the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha from Quran in memory of the martyrs of Gaza.
Our college’s participation involved the recitation of a poetic composition by the student Mohammed Thaer Jawad from the Department of Food Sciences, titled “The Great Homeland,” under the supervision of Mrs. Ibaa Amer and Mrs. Shaimaa Naji.
The poem received admiration from the audience.
