The Department of Agricultural Economics at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, organized a scientific visit to the Urban and Regional Planning Center under the supervision of a group of faculty members. The delegation was welcomed by Professor Dr. Karim Hassan Alwan, Dean of the Institute, who emphasized the importance of cooperation among the institutions of the University of Baghdad.
The visit aimed to enhance cooperation with the Center, introduce its fields of work, and familiarize students with its activities. This was achieved through a lecture delivered by Dr. Bushra Yassin Ali from the Center.
In addition, a workshop was presented by Dr. Najwa Sadiq Abd Aoun, which addressed the applications of artificial intelligence in urban planning.
This visit was conducted as part of the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week and in support of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
