The Special Needs Unit at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled “An Inclusive University Environment for Students with Special Needs in Agricultural Colleges,” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Yaseen Naji Hussein at the Department of Animal Production hall.
The workshop highlighted the importance of creating an accessible academic environment and integrating digital tools to support students with disabilities in classrooms, laboratories, and field activities, thereby improving access to scientific content and enhancing academic performance.
It recommended providing dedicated lecture halls for students with disabilities, installing elevators and accessible pathways, utilizing artificial intelligence tools, and ensuring inclusive laboratory and classroom environments in coordination with relevant departments.
