The Department of Agricultural Extension and Technology Transfer at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences conducted discussions of review papers as part of the requirements for obtaining a PhD degree.
The sessions were led by a specialized scientific committee chaired by Prof. Mithal Abdul Latif Salman, with members Prof. Bayan Abdul Jabbar Reda, Prof. Ahmed Hamdan Lafta, and Asst. Prof. Jumana Qais Tawfiq.
The discussions featured in-depth critical reviews of the PhD students’ papers, focusing on analyzing recent scientific literature in agricultural extension and technology transfer, as well as tracking global theoretical and technological developments. The committee praised the students’ high analytical level and emphasized the importance of review papers in identifying research gaps and formulating solid research problems.
Constructive scientific feedback was provided to enhance students’ skills in summarizing, comparing, and drawing conclusions from reliable sources, while guiding them toward rigorous methodologies required for international publication. The sessions concluded with appreciation of the students’ efforts and best wishes for their continued academic success.
