Rafif Waleed Farhad from Department of Field Crop Sciences successfully defended her Ph.D. work with the title ” Evaluation of the Effect of a Hormonal Combination with Amino Acids on Growth Parameters, Chemical Content, and Antioxidant Activity in Rosemary Plant”
The thesis aimed to determine the quantity and quality of biostimulants required for producing vegetative terminal growth (leaves), in comparison with the chemical composition of the oil, its essential characteristics, antioxidant activity, and identifying the most effective treatment.
The researcher recommended enhancing rosemary production through improving vegetative and flowering growth parameters, increasing leaf yield and its content of secondary metabolites by treating plants with other biostimulants or nutritionally beneficial compounds aimed at maintaining a balanced level of active compounds and antioxidants.
Congratulations to the researcher on this achievement and wishing her continued success.
