Brief History
Postgraduate studies were created in the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences in 1960 in the Department of Plant Protection, after which the rest of the scientific departments, respectively. The departments’ curricula depended on the basic lessons that the postgraduate students in all the departments had to study during the first year (the preparatory year) and some specialization courses, in addition to elective subjects that students had to choose according to their specializations to complete the graduation requirements.
