In line with the Sustainable Development Goal of Quality Education, the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences hosted the presentation and evaluation of graduation research projects submitted by fourth-year students of the Department of Plant Protection for the academic year 2025–2026.
Over two days, 23 scientific research projects were presented in the fields of Plant Protection/Plant Pathology and Plant Protection/Entomology. The event was attended by the Head of the Department, Dr. Bushra Sabir Abdul-Sada, the Department Rapporteur, Dr. Saad Tariq, and the faculty members serving on the evaluation committees.
The Entomology Research Committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Kamila Ward Shahir, Prof. Dr. Luay Qahtan Khalaf, and Dr. Nidaa Saud. The Plant Pathology Research Committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Halima Al-Bahadli, Prof. Dr. Nawras Abdul-Ilah, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ali Athab.
Dr. Buraq Abdul-Hassan and Assistant Lecturer Ammar Amjad Ayish supervised and coordinated the technical aspects of the presentations. The event was also attended by a large number of faculty members from the department.
The presentations were characterized by scientific rigor and objectivity, with constructive interaction between the evaluation committees and students during the presentation and assessment of their research projects.
