Assistant Professor from the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences Participates in PhD Thesis Defense
Assistant Professor Dr. Feryal Bahjat Hormuz, a faculty member in the Department of Plant Protection, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, participated as a member of the PhD thesis defense committee for the dissertation entitled:
“Application of Nanoparticles Derived from Aloe barbadensis Miller Leaves Against the Larval Stages of Culex spp. (Diptera: Culicidae) in Baghdad Province”
The dissertation was presented by Harith Qasim Mahdi, a PhD candidate in the Department of Biology, College of Education for Pure Sciences (Ibn Al-Haitham), University of Baghdad.
The defense session featured an extensive scientific discussion, during which the committee commended the candidate’s significant efforts in preparing the dissertation and praised its scientific quality and research findings.
In recognition of her valuable contribution to the PhD thesis defense, Dr. Feryal Bahjat Hormuz was awarded a Letter of Appreciation.
This academic participation contributes to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
