Ali Muhsen Jabbar from Department of Animal Production successfully defended his Ph.D. work with the title ” The Effect of Using Maca Powder in Broiler Diets and Drinking Water on Productive and Physiological Performance and Meat Oxidation Status “.
The dissertation aimed to incorporate maca tuber powder into broiler diets and drinking water to enhance feed conversion efficiency and improve the physiological performance of birds.
The researcher recommended the possibility of using maca powder in broiler diets for various growth stages at higher inclusion levels than those tested, as well as conducting further field studies to explore its usage potential and establish optimal inclusion rates.
