The Department of Agricultural Economics at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, held a scientific seminar presented by PhD student Lina Kadhim Sufaih.
The seminar focused on the circular economy as part of the procedures for approving the student’s PhD research proposal. The seminar was attended by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Iskandar Hussein Ali, along with several faculty members and postgraduate students from the department.
The study aimed to highlight the role that the circular economy can play in promoting sustainable development and to assess the interrelationships among water, food, land, and carbon. The seminar also contributed to expanding knowledge and developing the research skills of postgraduate students.
This activity contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
