The Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance Unit at the college organized a welcoming event for new students in the first-year at our college, in the presence of the college dean, Professor Dr. Amera Mohammed Saleh, and her assistants for student affairs, administrative and financial affairs, heads of scientific departments, and several faculty members. Also the meeting was in the presence of the head of the Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance Unit, Dr. Muthanna Falahi.
The welcoming ceremony began with the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha from the Quran for the souls of the martyrs of Gaza. Then, the dean of the college delivered a speech welcoming the students, urging them to adhere to attendance, rules, and university instructions. This was followed by a speech from the assistant dean for student affairs, Professor Dr. Osama Kazem Jabara, who welcomed all attendees. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of familiarizing students with disciplinary laws and the necessity of adhering to them, along with the uniform regulations for students.
Subsequently, the assistant dean for administrative and financial affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Munim Khamees Mukhlif, delivered a speech encouraging students to adhere to attendance and not violate university instructions and laws.
