Zahraa Hashim Abdulkhaliq from Department  OF Plant Protection  successfully defended her  MSc. work with the title (Evaluation of the efficiency of biosynthesized silicon oxide nanoparticles using Moringa leaf extract in protecting eggplant plants from white mold infection)
The study aimed to isolate and identify the pathogenic fungus S. sclerotiorum from eggplant plants infected with white mold disease, collected from various eggplant cultivation areas.
 The researcher recommended the use of biosynthesized silicon oxide nanoparticles to combat fungal pathogens, as well as the adoption of Moringa plant extract in the synthesis of other nanoparticles.
