Plant Protection Department – College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences organized a seminar presented by Master’s student Wasan Salman Dawood. The seminar aimed to highlight the role of the plant microbiome in enhancing disease resistance and promoting sustainable agriculture.
The seminar witnessed wide participation from faculty members, researchers, and students, contributing to enriching the discussion with practical practices to improve plant health and agricultural productivity.
The seminar recommended promoting the use of the microbiome to support disease resistance, monitoring microbial balance in the soil, and organizing regular workshops to exchange research experiences.
