As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences organized a workshop titled “Utilizing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Agricultural Data Analysis.”
The workshop was presented by Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Jabbar Jassim under the patronage of the Dean, Professor Dr. Amira Mohammed Saleh, and the supervision of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Wahab Abdul-Razaq. The session was attended by faculty members as well as graduate and undergraduate students.

Objectives
The workshop aimed to introduce the fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) and their modern applications in the agricultural sector. Key focus areas included:
  • Data Processing: Demonstrating how these technologies analyze complex agricultural data to improve the accuracy of research results.
  • Entrepreneurship: Strengthening the link between AI and agricultural entrepreneurship to boost production.
  • Digital Transformation: Encouraging researchers and graduate students to adopt modern technologies to achieve sustainability and food security.
