Abdulhadi Salahuddin Abdul from  Department of Agricultural Machines and Equipment successfully defended his Ph.D. work with the title ” Improving the Performance of a Hybrid Indirect Solar Dryer Using Different Techniques”
The thesis aimed to design a high-efficiency solar dryer compared with currently used solar dryers of the same type, and to develop a dryer with higher productivity than similar solar drying systems.
The researcher recommended increasing the quantity of material to be dried, as the amount used in the study was primarily for experimental purposes. He also suggested increasing the number of drying trays to allow larger quantities of material to be dried, which would ultimately enhance the overall productivity of the dryer.
