Professor Dr. Ilham Ismail Al-Shammari, a faculty member at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences – University of Baghdad, participated in the training course organized by the Iraqi Agricultural Engineers Syndicate – Consultancy Office, which was dedicated to graduates of colleges of agriculture under the title “Food Safety and HACCP System” for the period from 13–17/6/2026, lasting five days, with the participation of 20 trainees (male and female). The lecture delivered by Dr. Ilham Al-Shammari included the basic concepts of food safety and the importance of implementing the HACCP system in food establishments, as well as its role in ensuring the quality and safety of food products and reducing potential risks to consumer health. The course aims to develop the professional and scientific capacities of graduates of agricultural colleges and qualify them according to the latest approved standards in the field of food safety, in order to keep pace with global developments and meet the needs of the labor market. This activity contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 4 (Quality Education).
