“As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance environmental awareness and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, organized a comprehensive awareness activity aimed at rationalizing and sustaining water and energy usage.
The activity included displaying a set of posters on noticeboards throughout the college halls and classrooms. These posters featured practical guidelines and messages highlighting the importance of conserving water resources, reducing electricity waste, and promoting a culture of conscious consumption among students and staff.
This initiative aligns with national and global efforts to address environmental challenges and water scarcity, reinforcing the university’s role in building a conscious and responsible academic community toward its environment and natural resources.
Furthermore, this activity contributes to achieving several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), and Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
We wish everyone continued success and further accomplishments.
