Master’s Thesis about Achieving Competitive Advantage for Dairy Products was Defended at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences
At the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, a defence of the Master’s thesis titled (Economic Analysis of the Impact of the Supply Chain on Achieving the Competitive Advantage of Dairy Products in Iraq) was successfully conducted by the student Dina Abdel Fattah from the Department of Agricultural Economics.
The thesis aimed to clarify the activities of supply chain management, their implementation requirements, and identify the strengths and weaknesses of the General Company for Dairy Products. Additionally, it aimed to determine the nature of the relationship and the impact between supply chain management activities and competitive advantage.
The researcher recommended activating the role of investment companies to train producers in using modern technological methods in production, following the example of the developed and specialized world in the dairy industry. Furthermore, she emphasized the need for government support for producers and livestock breeders by providing loans and increasing production capacity through the providing of modern machines to replace the old ones.
