The College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences organized a training course titled “Irrigation Water Management in Field Experiments.” The event was supervised by Dr. Shatha Majid Nafawa, Head of the Soil Sciences and Water Resources Department. It collaborated with the Desertification Control Department and the Continuing Education Unit.
Course Aims and Lecturers
The course focused on improving water use efficiency and crop productivity. It also addressed reducing water loss and preventing soil salinization. Dr. Hadeel Amer Jabbar and Dr. Marwan Musa Nasr delivered the lectures, covering both theory and practice.
