Ahmed Dhahir Shahid, Department of Agricultural Extension and Technology Transfer, successfully defended his PhD work with the title “A proposed strategy for Agricultural Guidance Organization to enable farmers adapting to climate change in Iraq.”
The study aimed to evaluate guidance managers’ information about the impact of climate change on the sustainability of natural resources in Iraq to identify the activities carried out by Agricultural Guidance Organization in adapting to climate change in Iraq.
The researcher recommended updating the agricultural guidance curriculum, creating a system that includes data and information about climate change , the best ways to adapt to it, and making information easily accessible to everyone.
