Eilaf Mustafa Hamoud from Department of Plant Protection successfully defended her MSc. work with the title ” Study of Genetic Performance and Phenotypic Stability of Introduced Egyptian Yellow Corn Varieties under Different Plant Densities in the Central and Western Regions of Iraq”
The study aimed to evaluate the performance of four Egyptian yellow corn varieties compared with two local Iraqi varieties under the influence of two different agricultural locations and three different plant densities.

The researcher recommended cultivating and propagating the introduced Egyptian genotypes in Baghdad, as well as evaluating these genotypes under drought stress and adopting traits with high heritability values.
