Ali Abbas Khudair from Department of Agricultural Extension and Technology Transfer successfully defended his MSc.  work with the title ” Application of Scientific Recommendations by Date Palm Orchard Owners for Controlling the Red Palm Weevil in Diyala Governorate,”
The thesis aimed to identify the level of application of scientific recommendations by date palm orchard owners regarding the control of the red palm weevil, as well as to identify the problems and obstacles facing orchard owners.
 The researcher recommended conducting specialized training courses and implementing agricultural extension programs on red palm weevil control, in addition to strengthening extension activities directed toward date palm orchard owners.
 Congratulations to the researcher, and we wish him continued success and achievement.
