Ahmed Najm Abd Ali from Department of Agricultural Extension and Technology Transfer successfully defended his M.Sc. work with the title (The Reality of the Integration of Advisory, Preventive, and Agricultural Equipment Services for Palm Grove Owners and Their Satisfaction with Them: A Field Study in Al-Suwaira District/Wasit Governorate)
The study aimed to identify the reality of the advisory, preventive, and equipment services provided to palm grove owners, as well as to assess their level of satisfaction with these services.
The researcher recommended that the Ministry of Agriculture, in collaboration with relevant departments and organizations—primarily agricultural extension agencies—should develop an integrated developmental program for advisory services. Additionally, it is essential to provide necessary support to farmers from the Ministry of Agriculture and related entities, while also expanding communication and cooperation between farmers and extension institutions to implement appropriate solutions for the challenges they face.
