Salem Matar Adhas from Department of Agricultural Machines and Equipment successfully defended her MSc.work with the title (Performance evaluation of a dual-fuel diesel/hydrogen irrigation pumping unit)
The study addressed the challenges faced by diesel engines in terms of dwindling fossil fuels and growing concerns over harmful exhaust emissions, highlighting the urgent need for researchers to explore renewable clean energy alternatives. In this context, dual-fuel technology (diesel-hydrogen) emerged as a means to mitigate the impact of emissions from compression ignition engines while promoting energy consumption sustainability.
