The Department of Food Science at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences organized a scientific field visit to Al-Jadwal Dairy Factory for fourth-year students, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Azhar Jawad and Lecturer Dr. Izzaldeen Kazim Hamoud, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
The visit included a field tour inside the factory, where students were given the opportunity to directly observe dairy processing stages in a practical setting. This covered the full production cycle, starting from initial processing مراحل to the final product, as well as an introduction to the factory’s range of products and manufacturing techniques.
The visit aimed to strengthen students’ practical skills by linking theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. It also sought to enhance their professional competencies and expose them to an authentic work environment, contributing to their preparedness for future careers.
