Professor Abdul Ghafour Ibrahim Hamad, Head of the Department of Desertification Combat at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, participated as a member of the examination committee for the PhD dissertation entitled “Mapping and Assessment of Soil Development Indicators and Spectral Properties Using Geospatial Technologies in Al-Shirqat District”, submitted by Ahmed Majeed Hishan, a PhD candidate in the Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources, College of Agriculture, Tikrit University. The defense was attended by a number of faculty members and postgraduate students.
The examination session featured an in-depth scientific discussion, during which the committee commended the candidate for the significant effort invested in the dissertation, as well as its scientific quality and research findings.
The College extends its sincere congratulations to Professor Abdul Ghafour Ibrahim Hamad on this distinguished academic participation and wishes him continued success and excellence in his scientific career.
