Tamara Hussein Ali from Department of Agricultural Extension and Technology Transfer successfully defended her Ph.D.  work with the title ” The Relationship Between Growth Hormone Gene Genotype and Productive Performance in Goats “
The dissertation aimed to investigate the role of growth hormone in the productive performance of goats in Iraq and to identify the most important genetic mutations in the growth hormone gene.
 The researcher recommended adopting the hybrid genetic combination of mutation sites in the second and third exons of the growth hormone gene to improve productive traits in goats, particularly milk hormone levels and fertility.
