The Ministerial Committee for Evaluating the Scientific and Academic Performance of Colleges of Agriculture visited the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences. The committee commenced its work by meeting with the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Amira Mohammed Saleh.
The committee then toured the college facilities, including lecture halls, research units, and scientific laboratories.
The committee commended the work of the laboratory committees and their staff, as well as the efforts exerted and the attention provided by the College Deanship. It also reviewed the current occupational safety measures and the preparations in place, including the provision of safety equipment, designated emergency exits, and compliance with the guidelines and instructions displayed throughout the college buildings.
The committee also highlighted the role of scientific innovations and patents in the field of clean energy, particularly in the utilization and investment of solar energy in this area.
This activity contributes to achieving several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Quality Education, Affordable and Clean Energy, and Partnerships for the Goals.
