In support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Climate Action (SDG 13) and Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad organized a campus greening campaign under the patronage of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Amira Mohammed Saleh.
The campaign was carried out with the participation of the Women’s Affairs Unit, supervised by the Unit’s Head, Dr. Shaimaa Abdul-Khaliq, and the College’s Tree-Planting Committee. The initiative involved planting the college’s gardens and courtyards with a variety of seasonal ornamental plants and shade trees, enhancing the campus’s aesthetic appeal and creating a more vibrant environment. It also aims to improve air quality by helping reduce pollutants that may adversely affect human health.
We wish everyone continued success in serving and advancing our distinguished college.
