The Department of Animal Production at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, held a Ramadan Iftar banquet. The event was attended by a number of professors and students as part of the department’s social activities. The celebration took place in the deanery gardens amidst a joyful atmosphere.
The occasion was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Amir Faisal Abdul Amir. The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Amira Muhammad Salih, and her assistants also participated. The event was organized under the direct supervision of the Head of the Animal Production Department, Professor Dr. Hussam Jassim Hussein Bananah. The focus of the event was on first-year students to enhance their university engagement.
The program included a competitive game of “Al-Muhaybis” between professors and students. Participants expressed their happiness with the Ramadan atmosphere and wished for it to be repeated annually. The event was filled with a spirit of camaraderie through fruitful discussions among attendees. The initiative aimed to effectively support student participation in extracurricular activities.
