Under the patronage of the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Ensaf, the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences organized a memorial gathering on the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), in the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Amira Muhammad Saleh, along with the professors and staff of the College.
The memorial gathering included the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a speech delivered by the Dean of the College and the Assistant Deans, and then a religious lecture by one of the Hussaini pulpit preachers. The lecture addressed the sacrifice and steadfastness embodied in the immortal biography of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and emphasized the necessity of following his noble example.”
