In fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals for Quality Education, the Agricultural Economics Department at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences – University of Baghdad organized a seminar titled “How to Research, Evaluate, and Publish in Scopus-Indexed Journals.”
The seminar was presented by Professor Dr. Zuhal Radhwi Kazim, under the supervision of the Department Head, Professor Dr. Iskander Hussein Ali. The workshop covered essential procedures for identifying reputable journals through credible indexes, verifying their authenticity via the Ministry of Education’s journal portal, and ensuring they are not predatory or fake publications. It also addressed publication standards and adherence to specific journal guidelines.
The event targeted postgraduate students and faculty members across all scientific departments.
