The Sustainable University Week activities continue for the second consecutive day at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, under the patronage of the Dean, Professor Dr. Ameera Mohammed Saleh. The event aims to highlight the Sustainable Development Goals, promote environmentally friendly practices, raise awareness about the importance of sustainability and environmental protection in Iraq, and support scientific initiatives that address current environmental challenges and contribute to building a more sustainable future.
The program featured a range of scientific and innovative activities, including seminars on sustainability, as well as academic competitions among students from various scientific departments within the college. The event also showcased scientific outputs by faculty members and students, in addition to environmental initiatives and interactive workshops. Furthermore, theses, dissertations, and graduation projects addressing sustainability-related topics were presented, alongside posters, publications, and student-made models focusing on recycling and environmental conservation.
