The Department of Animal Production organized a scientific field visit for first-year evening study students to the Dairy Plant of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the Abu Ghraib campus, as part of the Animal Production Mechanization course under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Khudhair Jabr.
During the visit, the students were introduced to the stages of dairy processing and the operating mechanisms of modern machinery and equipment used in production lines. They also learned about the technical working methods and technologies adopted in the plant.
The visit was conducted to strengthen the practical and applied aspects of students’ education by linking theoretical concepts with practical applications, thereby helping to prepare qualified personnel capable of keeping pace with modern developments in the agricultural and animal production sectors.
This activity also contributes to achieving the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (Quality Education).
