“The College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences Holds an E-Marketing Training Workshop.”


Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, Professor Dr. Amira Mohammed Saleh, the State Youth Gathering, in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Youth and the Non-Governmental Organizations Directorate, organized a training workshop on digital marketing. This event was part of the national initiative for youth development, where Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Tami Jassam delivered a lecture attended by the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Osama Kazem Jabbarah, and the Head of the Agricultural Economics Department, Professor Dr. Iskander Hussein Ali, along with a number of faculty members and students.
The workshop targeted fourth-year students in the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, explaining the concepts of agricultural and digital marketing with a focus on their fundamentals. The lecturer discussed the differences between modern and traditional methods of marketing agricultural products, highlighting the advantages of each. The session also addressed the challenges young people may face when entering this field, offering practical solutions to overcome them.
The workshop highlighted how to market production projects online, helping graduates build a clear vision for their professional future. Participants learned how to enter digital markets and understood the basics of dealing with them efficiently. The event concluded with a presentation of the most useful websites and resources in this field, along with valuable advice from experts in agriculture and marketing.
