Under the guidance of Prof. Iskandar Hussein Ali, Head of the Department of Agricultural Economics, third-year students visited the Higher Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies, accompanied by Asst. Prof. Aida Fawzi Ahmed and Assistant Lecturer Tayba Khalaf Hassan as part of their Macroeconomics course.
The visit aimed to link theoretical concepts with practical applications in finance and accounting. Students explored the institute’s academic and training programs, learned about its administrative units, and received detailed briefings on the role of accounting and financial studies in supporting economic policies and analyzing macroeconomic indicators.
This initiative supports the department’s goal of integrating theory with field experience, enhancing students’ skills, and contributing to Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
