As part of the requirements for the General Entomology course, the Department of Plant Protection at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, organized a series of seminars. These sessions featured diverse presentations by first-year students enrolled in the Bologna Process (Morning Studies).

The seminars were designed to bolster the students’ academic and scientific foundation, while exploring specialized topics within the fields of Plant Protection and Entomology.
Key Outcomes and Recommendations
The sessions concluded with several vital recommendations aimed at holistic student development, including:
  • Information Literacy: Training students on how to effectively research and present scientific data.

  • Soft Skills: Enhancing communication, public speaking, and self-confidence.

  • Critical Thinking: Developing analytical and persuasive skills through peer-to-peer debate and interactive discussion.
