Noor Eidhan Hassan from  Department of Agricultural Economics successfully defended her MSc.  work with the title (An Economic Study of the Demand for Table Eggs in Iraq and Forecasting the Required Quantities for the Period 2024-2034)
The study aimed to estimate the demand function for table eggs and calculate the demand elasticities for table eggs in Iraq, as it determines the relative relationship between price and quantity to benefit from it in planning the quantities of eggs consumed.
The researcher recommended the necessity of paying attention to the poultry sector and providing the means to develop poultry and increase the quantities produced. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of conducting awareness programs to focus on table egg production projects and directing attention toward their development.
