The Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering organized a field visit conducted by a committee of faculty members, commissioned by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Iyad Waleed Abdullah, as part of supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the area of quality education.
The visit aimed to review the research project of PhD student Hussam Nasrullah Hassan, entitled:
“The Effect of Tuber Soaking with Gibberellic Acid, Vermicompost Fertilization, and Jasmonic Acid Foliar Application on the Growth and Yield of Industrial Potato.”
The study is supervised by Prof. Dr. Nabeel Jawad Kadhim and is being carried out at Al-Adwaniyah Station for Agricultural Experiments and Research, affiliated with the Scientific Center for Advanced Agricultural Technologies.
During the visit, the committee listened to a detailed presentation by the researcher outlining the nature and objectives of his study. The committee also provided valuable scientific feedback and guidance to enhance the quality of the research.
At the conclusion of the visit, the committee expressed their best wishes for the researcher’s continued success and further scientific contributions.
