Participated in the First International Scientific Conference on Medicinal and Industrial Plants, recently held at University of Kirkuk / College of Medicinal and Industrial Plants, Assistant Professor Saddad Kadhem Al-Taweel from the Department of Field Crops and Assistant Professor Dr. Eman Hamid Al-Anbari from the Department of Food Sciences at the College of Engineering Sciences.
The researchers presented a scientific study aimed at improving the growth and yield of stevia (sweet leaf) plants within sustainable breeding and improvement programs for medicinal plants. The study highlighted the importance of developing effective agricultural strategies to enhance the productivity and quality of medicinal and industrial crops in support of sustainable agriculture and food security.
