Ahmed Ali Abdulrazzaq Department of Plant Protection successfully defended his MSc. work with the title The Effect of Aphid Infestation on Certain Chemical Characteristics of Cucumber Plants and the Evaluation of the Efficiency of Selected Chemical and Biological Control Agents Under Open-Field Conditions”
The study aimed to evaluate the efficiency of selected control agents against aphid infestation at different infestation levels and application timings, and to investigate their effects on certain chemical characteristics of cucumber plants.
 
The researcher recommended conducting further studies on other insect pests, such as the whitefly, to expand knowledge of effective pest management strategies.
